Our contact lens fittings are based on state-of-the-art technology to ensure maximum comfort and precision in the fit. All our contact lenses for keratoconus or vision problems no matter what they are, are fitted 100% based on the unique characteristics of your eyes, lifestyle, vision needs and others…
Wide Variety of Contact Lenses
Our contact lenses are made with the best materials available on the market and the most advanced designs in the world. Each of our final contact lenses is unique, however, based on their general characteristics, we can classify them into:
Soft contact lenses are made of soft, flexible polymers that can make them more comfortable than rigid gas permeable lenses. The newest materials and state-of-the-art treatments allow greater oxygenation and moisture, which is transmitted in greater comfort for your eye when using them.
We have special designs of Soft Lenses for Keratoconus, Myopia Control, Multifocal and Color Blind lenses, as well as for other conditions and specific needs.
A properly fitted scleral lens will not touch the cornea at all, will have free space at the limbus, and will rest on the white part of the eye called the sclera. The sclera has fewer nerve endings so it is less sensitive, making the scleral lens more comfortable compared to a soft lens and rigid gas permeable (RPG) corneal lenses.
These lenses eliminate blurred and distorted vision caused by Keratoconus, Pellucid Marginal Degeneration and irregular corneal problems. In addition, the fluid under the lens will keep the cornea moist and protected from the adverse environment. They are excellent for the following conditions:
⦁ Dry eye
⦁ Sjögren’s syndrome
⦁ Keratoconus and ectasias
⦁ Post-Corneal Transplant
⦁ Radial Keratotomy (RK)
⦁ Stevens-Johnson syndrome
⦁ Corneal degenerations and dystrophies
⦁ Complications from LASIK treatment
Ocular Prostheses / Cosmetic Lenses
Custom colored contact lenses for patients with special needs, such as those with eye injuries and not available from major contact lens manufacturers.
This technology is also available for people with astigmatism, color blindness, with high prescriptions and/or who want a custom cosmetic tint on their contact lenses.
Rigid Gas Permeable (RGP) Corneal Lenses
Most rigid gas permeable (RGP) corenal lenses provide clearer, sharper vision and longer life than soft contact lenses. As well as being easier to handle compared to scleral lenses and less likely to break. However, they may initially be less comfortable than soft contact lenses and scleral lenses.
We have Rigid Lens designs for Keratoconus, Irregular Corneas, Orthokeratology Treatments, Multifocals for Presbyopia and correct most vision problems.
